Out of interest, where's the GIF from? Kinda reminds me of Ivor Novello from Hitchcock's The Lodger, but I don't think it is him. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

Oh, I was way off then. I never knew he was such a handsome fella, his name always led me to picture him as a comically rotund actor. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

You may a thing for men who wear eyeliner. Meanwhile I've discovered conclusive evidence Prince stole the splits.

You must have him confused with Fatty Arbuckle... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Hah, no I'm quite aware that they're two different people, I'd just never seen a photo of Keaton before (I must investigate his oeuvre further!) I probably got the general idea of silent film comics as being chubby from Arbuckle though, you're right there.
Charlie Chaplin was also very handsome sans his familiar getup.
Lots of those silent actors had a very similar look about them, it's always intrigued me that all the women seem to resemble Lillian Gish (she probably wasn't even the first). Must be the make-up I guess.
