Reason why you admire Prince I went through the threads lately,,, | |

I like Prince mainly because of his 80's work, which I think is great because the music was catchy and adventurous (and often funky!) at the same time. After that things went downhill for me. He still is great live and releases the occasional song that I like, but 90% of his post 1995 output bores the hell out of me. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

Hmm. I know I did all those things in relation to Prince in my younger days. Now? Not so many. Still respect his effort and his body of work (mostly) though. [Edited 4/23/14 19:11pm] |

i started to admire him after hearing "little red corvette" and "1999" - - -
and then reading about his "work ethic" and his knowledge of music ... Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet. |
