Wondering if WB will try to get this to Urban AC radio soon...will likely do even better than Fallinlove2nite which peaked in Top 30. Still wondering about pop radio potential for this song. Without airplay the sales will not sustain; you have to have something that drives the audience to the song.

Bugger - shows how shit I am at keeping abreast of things in these modern times - I was looking in charts in the itunes app, that says 108 at the moment but I'll be first to admit I don't have a clue where to look these days. It's not like when u could look once a week at the list behind the counter at HMV. 74 is far better anyway so am pleased to be doing it wrong!

Actually, you might have been right with your number. I think apple.com just update their site once a day, while other sites update more frequently. these sites http://www.popvortex.com/...-songs.php and http://kworb.net/itunes/_us.html updates more frequently. I actually think these are correct :/

The Breakdown is currently down to #226 on the "Top Songs" iTunes chart in the US as of 8:45pm EDT.

It has to start getting picked up by stations to stay in the charts. His hardcore base has already acquired the album probably.

I do not understand why this song is not on the radio yet. How was Epic able to get FIL2N on multiple stations and WB has either not tried or else is not going to try to get The Breakdown out there.

As usual no Promo from Prince for this single & new album 2 come ....Same state of mind from Prince since 10 years back now...he will sell 5000 or 10000 units from his new album 4 sure!!!

a good video and a few TV performances would help this song.It's a good track,it just needs stronger promotion from Prince.
