Would u like a rock-oriented guitar instrumental album Just listening to a Buckethead album right now and thinking of Habibi and the jazz-rock instrumentals released by 3EG last year and wondering how a guitar-oriented, purely instrumental album with 3EG, just guitars/drums/bass, no synth and no horns, could sound. I'd be curious

I love guitar and guitar solos. But i like guitar solos as a part of a composition. 10songs of guitar fiesta can be boring . on the other hand Prince didnt use analogue synth since middle section of the song Around A World In A Day. He plays those crappy digital keyboards and its strange,he was a kick ass mother funker on analogue synths, how come he dont miss the beauty of analogue?

If we are talking instrumental I would rather have a new Madhouse album

A 5 CD Madhouse boxset with the 4 albums + a bonus CD with the single versions and b-sides and a few outtakes, now THAT would rock A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Remember when it was rumoured that Plectrum Electrum was an instrumental album, ah they were the days. We're still no closer to the album. I bet it's gone through a few changes since then She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

Well it would be more welcome than the usual 'throw enough shit at the wall and see what sticks' pop/r&b mish-mash album, but I can't say I've ever pined for an instrumental rock album.

If Prince did a Steve Vai like album with a Bad Horsie type song or more, I'd really like that. __________________________________________________
