What ? It's not on 180 gram vinyl. I'm sure if this release was on 180 gram vinyl, I would just love the previous 3 singles that I'm not that big on. Because with the combination of it being on vinyl and hopefully 180 gram vinyl (fingers crossed) the songs will be incredible. I'm just going to hold out for the cassette release till then.

To my eyes the 1st and 3rd pic show the same label with the 3rd one being under a green hue. The 2nd pic looks like a different label for sure. So either there are different labels on each side of a single record, or it will at least be a double (although a double album on LP can still make it onto a single CD - see 1999 as an example).

Either way, it is all by the by because we aint ever going to find out. PE is over and done I reckon.

I might be behind, but are the singles that were already released supposed to be on this album or are we still just speculating as to what will be included? It would be awesome if he put out a live dvd with it, but I'm not getting excited about anything.

i will take one super single album over a double album with a bunch of not so great filler

Saturday, April 19th is Record Store Day and I'm starting to think that the vinyl clues of late are leading 2 a big surprise 4 Prince fans on Easter weekend. Keeping the cat in the bag next week will be hard. The latest Prince-tagram pic looks like it's from PLECTRUMELECTRUM...

Are you serious?

You can fit only about 22 minutes of material on each side of an LP. A few more than that if you're willing to compromise on sound quality. So if you're going to include some longer tracks like "Purple Rain" or "Temptation" on them then there would be no room for more tracks.
