Indeed. Tracks like this are why I think I prefer For You to Prince despite the greater polish on the sophomore album. While Prince kinda peters out with a few meandering ballads, with For You we get cool little leftfield tracks like this and My Love Is Forever. I guess this is his first real rocker, should definitely be resurrected live with 3rd Eye Girl, regardless of what one thinks of their musicianship it's a perfect fit for their stripped down hard rock sound.

Not really a 3rd Eye Girl fan, but yeah they could do it justice.

I wonder what this sounded like and who did the beginning riff, Prince or Donna? One of my favorite Prince rocker's. He needs to keep this in the set list no matter what band he has.

A rousing, catchy tune with what sounds like a hint of Brothers Johnson influence. Prince's first rock song--'nuff said
