has this ever been issued anywhere as a CD single??

I have the 12 inch single, and I burned it onto CD, but... it has a few light pops and scratches here and there..

I have the 3". It's awesome. But very quiet.

I have it too. I bought most of my CDs before I even had a CD player.

I was quite surrised when I first heard the 12" version. It had phatter groove than the lp version. And a "new" housequake based piece... in the middle of the song. Ah that was the day, P would release killer singles with extended versions and b-sides...where have these times gone??
the cdsingle comes with the same coevr as the 12" .

Have the 3" too! The 12" is also absolutely fantastic, with a huge cool, dark poster showing a live shot of Prince.
Part 1 & 2 were played live on the Tour, Pt. 2 sounds great with a noisy guitar solo..."say hello to my little friend, the Blue Angel...

surely this is his finest and most adventerous 12", as much as i love him now i sure do miss those days of the 12" extended mix and B sides. If i had a damn record player i'd dig it out tonight and play it to death AND la la la hee hee hee! too funky.
