So-called 'DID U KNOW' about Prince Forgive me if you've already seen this. Lots you already know, however, there are a few tid-bits that may make you smile. How true they are? Buzzfeed's source.

Everytime I read that quote it breaks my heart. Thanks for the link. There are so many good things they could have mentioned the concerts he does for charity, the fact that he sometimes gives writing credits to people just to help them out financially, etc. but no. Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh!

Wow... I'm really ashamed to admit this, seeing as how I'm supposed to be a Prince fan and all, but I honestly assumed that that Prince, Michael Jackson and James Brown thing was an urban legend until I read that article and saw the video. I mean, all the other times I've read about it on here everybody seemed to treat it as one big joke, so I never investigated any further. Guess you learn something new every day huh? I suppose I better hand in my fanclub badge and go and stand in a corner . Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

18. Prince essentially directed all of his videos in the '80s, even if a video technically had an official director. He made Larry Williams, the guy hired to direct "When Doves Cry," sit outside with a stack of magazines while that video was made. Really?? Who would even allow that if your professional name is listed as the director?? 33. Tim Burton had originally planned for the Batman soundtrack to be split between Prince and Michael Jackson, with the former providing funk tracks and the latter singing ballads. Never heard this one, they could have also mentioned that Tim Burton disliked Prince's soundtrack album that much that he had a clause put for the sequels that he was going to be responsible for the soundtracks, ie use Dan Elfman You know you are in love, when you cannot fall asleep because your reality is finally better than your dreams - Dr Seuss

I always assumed everyone realised the deniers were obviously joking. Sorry about that. RIP

I am not sure they are all accurate: 11. When he made his first appearance on Saturday Night Live in 1981, he sang, “Fightin’ war is a such a fucking bore,” but it wasn’t noticed in the moment and was aired without any censoring. I used to have a tape of this from that NIGHT and I think he sang Fricking. The tape I had included Charles Rocket saying it...but I remember Prince saying Fricking. (and it was shown again on tv edited to fricking... which seems odd to me) 13. Prince also ghostwrote and produced a record for Vanity 6, a trio fronted by Denise Matthews, a woman he was dating in the early ’80s. I though he dated the Susan? 36. Prince wrote “Manic Monday” for The Bangles.
No he didn't
46. The first time Prince ever saw his first wife, Mayte Garcia, was on a videotape. Garcia’s mother, a die-hard Prince fan, insisted that her daughter send videotapes of her belly dance routine to Prince when she was only 16. most of you know but Mayte was also on a tv show called That's Incredible when she was 8.
