I know there's been plenty of questions before about where to get the leopard/tortoise pickguard material that is similar to that on princes Telecaster style guitar...the general consensus is that identical material is no longer available. My question is probably simpler....what is the pickguard around the bridge actually called - the little bit at the back. I can't find anywhere that makes or sells that bit anywhere and I imagine I'm Googling the wrong search term?

Thanks...I've found the right(ish) material do if it comes to making one myself I should have no probs. just can't believe there's not somewhere that sells similar or that they actually have a proper name for a pickguard there
