Take your picks. Okay, since everyone seems to have certain favorites from each band, let's play make believe... Prince just told you you're in charge of picking the musicians, backup singers and dancers (if that's your thing) for his next tour.. but it has to be musicians from his past bands. Who do you pick? .

Wendy & Lisa of course, Sheila E. on drums André Cymone on bass, Dez Dickerson on guitar, Dr. Fink on keyboards Rosie Gaines as backing vocalist... on about 3 songs of the setlist, though she's absolutely not allowed to sing songs by herself. Eric Leeds on some songs, playing sax. Morris Day as backing vocalist, on some songs... I actually like Cat dancing around like crazy
Vanity or Apollonia 6 as backing vocalists for the rest of the show, and they are allowed to sing their songs if they want. Blue Limousine & He's So Dull [Edited 3/20/14 3:30am] bleh

I'd put Prince on keys for Most Beautiful Girl, The Beautiful Ones, Starfish & Coffee, Future Soul Song, Anotherloverholeinyohead, Sometimes it Snows in April and Adore Wendy on guitar Sheila on Drums Lisa on piano Brownmark on Bass Dez on Guitar Rosie backing but only on Cream and Diamonds & Pearls Apollonia backing but only for Take Me With You And the dancers would be Morris and JB Mayte can come and do whatever she wants. . No horns this time around. And I'm gonna need to them to play Laydown, Theives in the Temple, 7, Mountains, 17 Days and Lavaux first. .

This sounds great to me. Ida is a fantastic bass player - there are some videos of her on Youtube playing solo stuff, demoing gear and that, and I love her playing.

I love this game
Prince - Whatever (Vocals, dance, guitar and some keys) Lead guitar - Wendy Rhythm Guitar - Miko Bass Guitar - Sonny T Drums - John Blackwell and Michael B to take turns, one half of the show each, some songs may require 2 drumkits, then both. (It would be great to see them playing together and off each other) Keys 1 - Dr. Fink Keys 2 - Tommy Percussion - Sheila E Dancers - The Twinz and Mayte Hornz - Atlanta Bliss and Eric Leeds Back up Vocals - Rosie and Boni Piano if needed - Lisa and maybe Prince at times Lead Dancer and Choreographer - Cat Emcee and introductions along with comedy and jokes - Morris Day It was hard especially with the drum and keys slots
[Edited 3/24/14 3:42am] Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
