Okay, instead of just sitting back and waiting to see what happens with FIL2N, lets do what we can to help it succeed! If everyone here will share it on their social media pages, play it for friends/family and have them buy it on itunes if they like it, call in and request it on the radio (haven't done that in years! lol) and if you know any popular bloggers/vloggers/etc. that might be willing to write about or mention it on their sites, we can really help get it recognized. I don't want to settle on Prince never having another hit song. No, it's not all about that, I certainly don't like the majority of what is on "popular" radio, but that's what pays the bills. If you love him, lets get behind him and help.

I am in no way comparing the artists or the music because I believe Prince is far better (musically), but I thought the same thing when I first heard the GOD AWFUL "Believe" by Cher. I had to check my ears for blood.. but look what happened.. that shit was played DAY AND NIGHT nonstop.

I'm not going to share it in social media. I only link material that represents the musicians I like the best, or at least in a way that I think is the reason why I like them. "FunkNRoll", maybe, something that appropriates the sound of contemporary dance pop for commercial purposes, no.

I respect that. I guess I would try and do my part even if I hated the song only because more success for him might equal more (better?) music for us in the future. Even if I hated it, someone I shared it with might dig it, so no harm, no foul.

God no, I've been a fan since I can remember, why would you think that? I was born in '82 so I didn't get to grow up with him like it seems most of the people here did, but he has always been a part of my life because my dad was a big fan and listened to him a lot. I have only recently decided to try and get all the old concert footage and watch it, but the music I have listened to for a long time.

Your enthusiasm and 'loyalty' reminded me of how I felt when I first got I to him...befit experiencing his annoying/selfish traits and mediocre release and plans....good on you if you've been able to maintain that

Well I have always been a fan of his MUSIC. I have never been one to keep track of anyone else's personal life, famous or not. Now, I heard all the stories about his craziness and personality in the tabloids and whatnot but I was always taught to believe none of what you hear and only have of what you see. I decided to never believe rumors, because anyone can get pissed off and start shit. That is why I have also loved MJ my whole life. I didn't care that his skin was changing and I could see straight through the other bullshit. As long as the music still speaks to me, I'm a fan.. nobody is perfect and unfortunately celebrities are held up to a much higher standard than us "regular" folk. I guess my "enthusiasum" is because I have been watching so much of the old stuff lately and it has made me super nostalgic.

FALLINLOVE2NITE is going to be a hit (this song deserves to be a hit imho.),

I am sure Epic will do some good promotion for the song..

Are you new to this site? The majority on here are self loathing Prince fans. They only want Prince to accomplish things on their terms and no other way. He must write, do, perform, dress etc. exactly to their specifications and they will only support that. Of course that never happens. They will buy the new song and then ignore it or claim to have never bothered with it in the first place. They will not promote anything they don't 1000% approve of. Which also hasn't happened.

Actually, yes.. it's my 3 day anniversary and yeah, I kind of picked up on that.. makes me a little sad, to be honest. I support him too. If a song isn't to my liking I just don't listen to it. I don't focus on it like a lot of orgers do. I know more about what Prince fans hate than what they enjoy from being on here.

This song is an embarrassment to all things Purple, a blatant attempt at scoring a hit with a song as flimsy as the garments of Vanity 6 members. I cannot in any way endorse this song, sorry!

I got news for you if Prince has any involvement with record companies he has to do something that is going to get played on the radio. It does not matter if the hard core does not like it. Go on Facebook or on line in general. People are loving this song and if Epic does their job this is going to do well.

That doens't take away that this song is very poor as far as Prince songs go. And even as far as commercial productions go.
