Anybody think this could relate to Prince?

http://www.digitalmusicnews.com/permalink/2014/03/17/beyonceexclusive

Itunes is now preparing a massive Beyonce-Esque exclusive.

Normally with it been an Itunes exclusive, I wouldn't have thought so..but the comments about spotify got me thinking that it sort of sounds like something he would say.

If the deal is good for him, would he actually care how an album is released?

That's the thing with Prince, though he can say one thing and do a completley different thing. If the deal suits him better, is a quicker pay day who knows.

In all reality this probably isn't Prince, but it could well be the sort of thing he might do.

Could be, for sure. It would seem to be something he might do.

Well I hope not. I refuse to do iTunes, and will never buy mp3s.

I hate iTunes. I don't think this will be Prince. But you never know, I suppose.

i'm hoping that if it is Prince he'll follow the initial digital release with a physical release (in particular a vinyl release)

Bearing in mind Liv's album is currently only available as a download, although at other sites other than iTunes.

I'm thinking this itunes secret deal could be with U2.

They have been talking about a new batch of music

but have been very coy about a release date.

U2 have said they aren't now doing a new album until 2015, they put it back from this year, of course that could have been complete rubbish from them.

Lady Gaga seems the most likely at the moment, but not many people are mentioning Prince, it seems the poular names are Adele, Lana Del Rey, Rhianna & Nicki Minaj.
