Well, I wouldn't expect them to say otherwise.
Good to know you're still hurting, though.
Why would I be hurting? Who needs to think what through, now?
I just don't like trolls.
Now go on, make your silly quip about trolling for the 7779311th time.
Now I remember. You take this all a bit too seriously, don't you? Poor thing. |

Well. I bought it - better not be on the album or I'll want my money back! Still havent bought pretzel for that reason, does anyone know if there's a video for it? Seems strange if it's on a major not to have one - maybe clips from the New Girl epsidode? Comin str8 outta Preston... |

How anyone can compare this to Happy is insane, Happy is a brilliant pop song by an artist in his prime. Fallinluv2nite is average europop at best, I really hope it does well but it doesn't represent at all where Prince is on 2014, a cheap hope of a radio hit is what it is [Edited 3/17/14 7:58am]
I disagree, I like Pharrell and all but Happy is highly repetitive and hardly original. But like any song with a major label behind radio pushes, it gets ingrained in your head the more you hear it. Songs can be crappy and catchy at the same time. E.g. the first time I heard a Britney Spears song (I think it was "Ooops I did it again") I was like wtf is this crap.. but they used to play it every day at my college in a public area so I couldn't help but hear it everyday. Next thing I know about two weeks later I find myself in the showing singing to myself "da da da da ... Oops I did it again.. da da da da da" and then i was like OMG wtf am i doing, ashamed at myself for singing such trash. But I had to admit to myself after hearing it 20 times it was extremely catchy..
I've heard peeps on here call "FALLINLOVE2TONITE" repetitive. This song is a hit! When radio adds it. Everybody will be singing it. Even Pharrell!!!
Also age has NOTHING to do with it! Pharrell is in his 40's and has a number one hit all over the world....... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

The one thing I will give you is that Prince's singing is catchy. Still don't like the song much though, I would not like it if this became Prince's comeback hit. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

Was just about to write the same thing. Having listened to the official recording, through decent speakers, I really like it now. I still just prefer 'Pretzelbodylogic' though. |

One must consider the "troll" important in order to be labeled a sycophant. I'm not sure this applies. Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh! |

I'm not deciding and haven't said anyone was a troll, I was just pointing out the difference. You can tell when someone is just talking shit just to start something. A good example is a person repeatedly posting in a thread on a fan board commenting on how horrible the artist's new single is. Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh! |

I bought it on my phone, my husbands phone, my sons ipad and on amazon. It's a good song, not my absolute favorite and I don't know how often I'm going to play it, but we used to pay $5 or more for a single in a cd store, it's crazy how little an artists creative work is worth now.. and only in music.. Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh! |

True. The label feels like a kind of impotence on the accusers part. We all know that Prince is quite easy to be critical of. Sometimes he does amazing things too. Point is, when a fanbot can't argue against that criticism, the name calling starts. I find this transparency kind of obvious...and i feel embarressed for the accuser. |

Agreed! Heard it a few times on Sirius Radio late last night and today. Chanel 16 "The Blend", sounds great plus that is the chanel I have set for my business. My staff digs the beat but say "it doesn't sound like Prince". I tell them no it sounds a little like Camille and they look at me like who?? To which I reply La,La,La, He, He, He.......not to digress too much but I am pleased with this Epic Relaese. |

I agree. lol I misread the post. I'll just say, I respect everyonesl right to speak their opinion but it confusing to me why they would choose to use a "FAN" message board as an outlet for their feelings. It is fair to assume that they know the majority of posters will have a differing opinion and won't appreciate repeated negative comments. Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh! |

I got it. Hard core fans of any artist will purchase the music. Its the casual fans (of which he has many) who'd most likely not purchase music if they knew they could get it for free. Change it one more time.. |
