I have been away from all things Prince for a while and want to get back up to date. I have every officially released Prince recording (CD and online) up to the year 2010 but since then I haven't really been following things. Also it seems that songs are getting released on various different websites and it has become increasingly difficult to keep track of what has been released and where to find it.

Can anyone point me to a location where I can find a chronological list of all Prince official releases so that I can catch up?

this place has the best info. although i find they like to sub-divide 'non CD' releases under all sorts of categories, which is annoying when you want to see just one ful list of songs.

Thank you. Unfotunately that is the problem I am having. I have found about six different lists of songs and don't know whether I have found all the songs or not. I was really hoping that someone might have put together a chronological listing of everything regardless of how it was released.

It used to be so much easier when everything was released on CD. Then there was the NPGMC but now there seem to be songs that are only released on certain websites for limited periods of time and songs that are on CD and songs that are only on streams etc. It has get very confusing (or I have just got too old)!

It's a work in progress, with a gap for the years 2001-2004 currently, but he's doing a pretty good job of trying to fill holes while keeping up with the more recent releases. It's chronological, and once you read his explanations for how it's set up, it's pretty useful. You might still want to use it along with Princevault (nobody's perfect, and both Databank and Princevault could miss something, or find something new), especially since Databank usually only includes the first appearance of a version, and it might be easier to find some tracks through some later release, and Princevault might include information on that.
