Its a shame, kids growing up these days won't even know what CD's are.. everythings immaterial on ipods and files on harddrives.

I try to explain the concept of cassettes to my kids...the blank looks you get when you tell them you had to take them out and turn them over and, on some occasions, fix them with a pencil

I can't believe 8 tracks would break up songs just to switch "sides" (programmes)!

I wish it was only 3 formats that you had to worry about.

There's still the different countries, diff covers, diff vinyls, promos, re-releases..... and so on.
