An odd comment to use in regards to someone so incredible attractive but that revelation just gave me an instant soft-on!

Prince handles the majority of the lead vocals.

I am still excited as I really want a true rock album...but I also find myself hoping even more that this comment about Hannah handling vocals is referencing one single back up line, of one song... as it fades out

Why would it be bad thing for a band member to add vocals to an album?

It mention that Hannah contributes vocals that Prince compares t9 W&L, so hopefully only (mostly) backing vocals...

As much as some fans complain when he gives band members the spotlight and it's not all Prince? I bet if Prince isn't doing most of the vocals on that album, some fans will complain regardless. Lol.

I'm OK with Hannah having a prominent role as (main) vocalist.

At least we'll have an album ...

  • P himself is proud of,
  • in which P was challenged to do sth different, at last,
  • with mainly rock-oriented songs.

BTW, I like Live Out Loud, should you consider to value my opinion; at least you know where I stand. biggrin

FIXURLIFEUP, PRETZELBODYLOGIC, FUNKNROLL, all on the album with Prince on main vocals, I am not too worried. Hannah as a vocalist is limited to backups, like on FIXURLIFEUP, if L.O.L. is on this though, it would be a shame. She proved in that song that she should not take the lead. Her voice complements others well, but solo, it just doesn't cut it in my opinion.

I see no mention of a release date.

Not even a vague hint.

That says enough to me.

bloody hell, the guy who has heard Plectrum electrum in the new year from the mojo magazine states that he only can recall Prince on main vocals when interviewed by dr funkenberry!

for fucks sake, you will have it this month.. It is on Kobalt, the same label that released Liv's album under the NPG moniker

Say you had the release date, then what for you,, what would you complain about then,, i truly hope you are being a troll about this and this is not you

You mean: there is a plan?

It's not about getting the record but about to clarity from him towards the world.

Promoting a non-existing album asks for some sort of projected release info.

That's classic marketing, you don't even need Kiran for that.

So why didn't he mention that info at all?

It is on Kobalt, the same label that released Liv's album under the NPG moniker

Kobalt is no information source.

Say you had the release date, then what for you,, what would you complain about then,, i truly hope you are being a troll about this and this is not you

If we had a release date, mentioned along the festivities, then the picture would have been more complete. More consistent. More planned, more sensible.

Indeed it would, but the fro kills it. Kinda like how the girl's chant/vocals on Pretzel kill that song.

And lastly, i'll trust Prince's judgement on how to make and release music over any genius on the org including you unless of course you have some credibilty in doing just that over the last 4 decades.

THIS.

I personally do not like her vocals on LOL at all.

Hopefully it's the ONLY song she sings lead on. I don't care if she adds backing vocals, though.
