Zoolander? But then again I actually enjoyed some scenes in that movie. Maybe "The Happening"? The floor is open.

U musn't have seen too many movies in ur life if u think Zoolander and The Happening are among the worse... I've watched several hundred films that were worse than these two... Not that they're great, but there's MUCH MUCH worse lol lol lol

"The Happening" is pretty bad because it was a high profile release. If it was an unknown indie movie it wouldn't really be in people's worst lists. But it is really bad! Maybe it should get a Graffiti Bridge award!

PS, I think Purple Rain is a good movie despite some bad acting (especially the "subpoena" scene with Jill Jones and Prince).

All of Prince movies are filled with bad acting. Remember his death scene in Under the Cherry Moon? Us fans look beyond the hamming in his movies though. biggrin

It's not THAT bad. It's probably Shyalaman's weakest post Sixth Sense film (haven't seen the ones before The Sixth Sense) because it somewhat falls flat by comparison to other apocaliptic movies (particularly zombie films) but there are some good things in it, good acting and the directing is neat as always with Shyalaman. IDK, there are thousands of terrible, crappy horror, sci-fi and action films that were made in a week with 20000 dollars by people who didn't give a fuck, not to mention all these brainless comedies, and people end-up naming The Happening as one of the worst film ever made? This is ridiculous. I'm a fan of horror and sci-fi movies, I've seen hundreds of them and believe me, The Happening is a masterpiece by comparison to many.

Well alrightie then.

What IS IT, luvsexy4all? I'm trying to figure it out. I mean... I get the message and all. Love must save us all... bla bla bla...

But someone should have just told Prince that he had a nice dream last night, and that there's really no need to share this project with the masses.

The only thing good about this movie is that it wasn't called Purple Rain II.

GB is a proud member of the bad movies

made by popular music stars club. Members

include Madonna, Paul McCartney, John

Mellencamp, Paul Simon, Michael Jackson,

the Village People, Oliva Newton John &

the list goes & on. GB is not the worst and if you

want to give out awards for bad pop music movies

nobody beats Elvis Presley for volume alone.

YES!!! At least GB has a good soundtrack, unlike Watchmen, Castaway, Battlefield Earth, which have no redeeming qualities at all. Although Steven Spielberg did get the Wi Fi put in the eastern Islands of Fiji, that still does not improve the movie Castaway!

Precisely. The Prince soundtrack alone makes GB a lot better than anything by Tyler Perry or Adam Sandler.

I've seen Graffiti Bridge several times.

But movies like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes," and "Leonard Part 6," were beyond worse than GB. Barely watched those once, and will never watch them again.

The acting and script of The Happening were bad enough that the theater was cracking up at supposed scary tense parts. Witness here.

I get the feeling something may have been wrong with my DVD copy as the sound just sounded totally wrong for most of the songs. Did anybody else have this problem?

Great another "Bash Graffiti Bridge" thread. Well I kind of liked it, its not that bad, okay it has bad fashions and some dreadful rapping, but there are many movies a lot worse. Believe me I have taken and given abuse for it in the past, but watching it last year, I was like "Yeah theres some dated and amateurish rapping, but so what?"

There are positives like the scene of Morris and Jerome with the lights off, Prince watching as Morris pisses on the plant and some fairly good musical sequences like "Still would stand all time". Plus Prince's look is funny.

But back to bad movies, just a short list for now and no doubt I will find more as time goes on!

Howard the Duck

Meatballs

Weekend at Bernies

Border Cop, (Horrible 70s DVD I watched at a holiday home with Telly Savalas)

Most bad horror movies

Bikini Summer (Terrible early 90s Baywatch thing)

Xanadu (Bleeechh!!!)

Scream Blacula Scream

The Apple (Okay most of it was filmed in Germany and had German extras)

Inhumanities (Bad documentary crap of beheadings and shit from the 80s)

Police Academies 5 - 7

Monkey Hustle (Bad blaxpoitation)

Glitter

But the worst worst worst movie I can think of now is

"Cool as Ice"

I mean seriously that is dogshit smeared on toast, bad acting, bad rapping, stupid story, douche bag actors.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I agree jaypotton - he should have realized the film was doomed and just released it as a video companion and put the focus on the album

At one point,Warner Bros.tried to convince him to do exactly that: release the movie straight to video.I agree with them.Trying to pass 'Graffii Bridge' off as a major motion picture was a mistake. It's basically just a long form music video and should have been marketed and released that way.

Totally agree. It should have been released straight to video to accompany the album, like he did w/ the video collection (and loose storyline) for the Love Symbol album.

There's definitely some cringe moments & the sets/being shot on the soundstage makes it feel quite claustrophobic.
There's still quite a lot of parts I enjoy though.
Morris, Jerome & The Time's scenes lol
The musical performances esp Elephants & Flowers.
Mico & Levi's "acting" lol
Morris sliding up the bridge in his Stacey Adams.
"We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

Things I like about this movie: Prince's performance of "Elephants and Flowers" and all of the Time performances.

Haha you know these films are bad just from the posters.
