Prince, move Paisley Park over to London. There's gonna be a disused dump that needs converting in Highbury, North London, next year.

The first 3 times I went I didn't get in. Well, not that I couldn't have, had I waited around long enough. But it was the middle of the night, middle of the winter. It was FREEZING. We nearly had frostbite. That kinda soured me to the whole thing. I always said fuck Prince and left.

I missed the happy times before all the BS started. Now I've been a few times in the past few years, and it's alright and all. If he plays, it's damn near magical (nothing like seeing Prince in his home with only about 50-100 people watching like it used to be at 3am in the love4oneanother room), but if he doesn't, I get bored. The music the DJ plays usually isn't my thing (and he can't mix for shit) so I end up yawning and wondering why I'm not in my cozy bed sleeping.

Sorry to be such a sour puss. Like I said, I missed the hey-day of the parties. I hear the stories, and I'm sure I'd have had a ball back then.

A couple years ago I was standing outside Paisley Park waiting to get in. Prince's security guards came out and told everybody in line that the party was "private" and you needed a pass to get in. Most of people left the line, went to their cars and drove off. I had to leave because the person who gave me a ride there didn't want to wait. Later that same night, we found out the security guards came back out and let the people who had waited into the "private" party.

That was the last time I ever went to Paisley Park.

Not to rain on your parade, but the show in question was not very good. I wish you could have seen all that I've seen. Also, damn those were ugly shirts they gave us smile)

Hopefully someday it will all start up again.
