Please edit ur comment, the mods don't allow mentions of this website here, because they consider it illegal (and so does Princevault it seems). I did some research, though, and as of now it seems perfectly legit and the content seems to be properly licenced, but let's respect the mods' wishes.

Sorry - I guess that would explain why I missed it completely, because I stupidly stick to the org to give me news about the music.

The org is as sucky as Prince is anymore. Sad day.

And yes, I understand the need to not link to sites, etc. etc. but not mentioning shit that's released? That's overkill to the point of absurdity.

In case anyone else was wondering, it appears that the newly released Controversy show might have originated on cockstuffedinasses.com. But who knows...

The good news is that I check the org less and less frequently all the time...and there is less and less of interest when I do check it, so at some point in the not too distant future I can finally be free of my org obsession entirely.

Technically many of the "studio recordings" here are rehearsals but I don't make the distinction on the discography, in the sense that a recorded rehearsal is technically a studio recording and that unless we are TOLD it's from a rehearsal we could perfectly assume it's a proper studio version (and actually we did with Cloreen Bacon Skin and the whole The Undertaker, even though we were told they were rehearsals, and there are probably other tracks recorded "live in the studio" and left untouched that we consider studio version), so I've decided not to make the classification of the songs on that list more complex than it already is

I saw a Screwdriver CD online but not sure if it was a release or a promo.

You can exclude of course streams and TV shows which are not "releases" and make the bulk of this "discography" but they were several digital singles, video singles and promo giveaway singles (= free downloads) that can't be discarted. In case you don't know digital releases have sold more than physical releases for at least 2 years, so it's now the dominant format.

Still, that'd leave us with about a dozen songs which ain't much but it wouldn't be empty as you suggest.

I really would love more substantial info before I edit, not that I don't take ur word for it but if I jump on these kind of infos and edit the list while both Uptown and Princevault missed these, just because someone said the stuff existed somewhare, I'm gonna be called unscientific in my method and I really want to maintain this discography's credibility.

What this 2013 list tells me is that ordinary members of the public, that like a bit of prince, don't stand a chance of hearing even 10% of this new music!

Even I don't have a clue where I have to go to listen to it!

Most of it already isn't anymore available officially. That's "hit n run" with Prince nowadays

I've been in4med what syndicate is but I'm still VERY interested in more info/confirmations regarding these edits of HCUDCMA and Head.

i wouldn't want to make an object lesson of your personal, lots of effort, hard work and time invested project. however: i bet your response to my inquiry is very similar to how prince would respond if folks asked him whether it would be okay to share his unreleased stuff, i.e. bootlegs eh?
