Question: Is It True that Prince Gave MJ Some Ideas for a late'00s Comeback?? you know, just before the announcement/rehearsals of the This Is It project (before his death)
I've heard/read some stories about Prince advising MJ to make a broadcast live unplugged concert or something like that, but it sounds like fan rumour and BS
some say that even Prince was (one of) the masterminds behind the This Is It project
does anyone know sumthing 'bout this? source? proof?
thanks

I'm not sure if its true or not. I do know that Michael wanted to do more shows then prince had done at the O2. Prince had the record for his 21 nights in London shows, which fueled MJ to want to do more shows than the original 10 that was announced. As far as Prince giving MJ advice, that is probably one of those things we will just never know, lol. kind of like those meetings they had during the HIStory sessions. | |
