small mention,

I had forgot all about her, the violin player Vanessa Mae and Prince working together about 10-12 years ago..(?).

But last night on danish TV2 there she was, an interview with her -- from Soshi, she's an olympic participant under her name: Vanessa Vanakorn, from her Thai roots - her father is from Thailand.

Believe it or not - this famous violinplayer running as an alpine skieer at the Olympics..

While the interview was going on, a text message was shown, about her work (as Vanessa Mae) with Janet Jackson and Prince.

i really love her contributions to the Xpectation album. great atmosphere.

I never understood why only N.E.W.S. got a proper physical release, and the imho superior Xpectation was only available as a DRM-infected download album.

One of his best post-80s albums IMHO - coherent, interesting, varied, well thought through and well executed - a worthy successor to Madhouse, and miles better than NEWS.

I wake up to Xhalation every morning.
