Did Prince ever meet Michael Hutchence? I've always been a fan of INXS's music and after watching the "Never Tear Us Apart" TV series over the past 2 Sunday nights here in Australia, I have begun listening to some of old favourites from INXS. I also got to pondering how potentially brilliant it could have been to see a Prince INXS collaboration. I guess timewise this would have been well timed for around 1993-4? Prince was clearly looking for something different around then and INXS were at the point where they were trying to battle off the influence of the emerging grunge scene. Putting aside the record company logistics of such an idea...I think between Prince, Andrew Farris and Michael Hutchence the world could have heard some incredible music. Does anyone know if Prince and Michael Hutchence ever met? Heres a thought...Prince as front man for INXS!?!? Hey...they gave Terence Trent D'arby a crack at it...who knows, Prince & The Revolution, Prince & the NPG, Prince & 3rd Eye Girl....Prince & INXS??? heh heh...just a thought.

I don't know if they ever met. But I did reading an interview with one of the guys from Inxs, and he was talking about playing rock n rio, and seeing Prince watching them from the side of the stage- so he was certainly aware of them My name is Naz!!! and I have a windmill where my brain is supposed to be.....

kick was recorded at paisley and prince covered them at the o2 aftershows so he's clearly aware of them. dunno if they met but as inxs recorded at paisley there is a good chance. kick has a similar production sound to a lot of prince stuff from that time, such as kiss
