What about file sharing?

I have 4 or 5 friends I'd call casual fans. They like the music, go to see the man live when he's around... It would NEVER (I'm pretty sure about it) come to their mind to spend 100$ to join the NPGMusicClub, or spend hours on the org, you get the picture!!!
Without me, they would simply have no clue about TheRainbowChildren, OneNiteAlone, OneNiteAloneLive, but also Xpectation or some of the wonderful NPGMC files (WhenEyeLayMyHandsOnU, WhenWillWeBPaid, etc.).
Now, is it really such a sin to break the rule ( lol ), and let them share such exciting music?

My best friend didn't join the club last year. He bought Rainbow Children and loved it, but doesn't tend to like the older stuff.

I copied ONA Live on to 1 CD for him, put the soundchecks and the afterparty stuff on another CD, put the best of The Truth and One Nite Alone on another disc, then burned him 3 CDs of live tracks and 2 of released stuff from Kazaa.

Oh yeah, and I did a copy of Xpectation for him too.

This was my birthday present to give to him before I go back to Thailand.

I don't really mind that I paid the $100 for the club and he didn't. I paid it ages ago so it doesn't matter. It's cool that he can listen to this great music.

File sharing rules! i'm a habitual 'thief' and proud of it.Burning discs is a hobby of mine and P2P is a Godsend!

only folk who paid $100 dollars to the NPGMC are disgruntled.First you see the exclusive downloads on Kazaa, then the exclusive CD's in wrecakstows worldwide. But as they say, you live and learn!

'Free Music' indeed. lol

I have downloaded a lot of stuff of Prince's, that is how I got introduced to his incredible music. Frankly, I would never have gotten into him like I am now without hearing 'Cross The Line' or 'Extra Lovable' from Kazaa.
Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. We are Sexually Frustrated what we R... Amen..!!! - zelaire
