Howard Stern Billboard

In latest Billboard, Howard Stern stated that Prince is one interview he would love to get.

i have a hunch that P will play Howards birthday gig..

may be totally off.. but feels like P is planning some kind of musicology-like year.. which means finally giving in to some of the things he has passed on before.. Howard being a big one..

he could definitley use a boost with howard's audience demo.

i mean, P doesnt 'need' anything.. he is doing great.. but it would, IMO, be some really, REALLY good exposure..

i may be wrong.. but howard had been talking about Prince a lot lately.. and all of a sudden he has some major stars at the party that he cant announce.. feels like there is something there...

again, im probably wrong.. and probably wishful thinking.. but still my hunch.

i do hope you are right ... and Prince shows up ...

I think Howard is a pretty harmless guy ... when it comes to it ..

there was an episode of his show about 2 yrs ago - where he walked down the hall of Sirius - to confront a Liberal talk show guy who was talkin smack about howard .... and you thought to yourself "wow is howard gonna punch the guy " or ... what ....

when howard got there , he said afterwards ... it was this old guy ... and howard kinda backed down some and had repect for the guy ....

I really think that is how Howard would act with Prince .... he would ask him funny questions but Prince would just deflect them ... AND I think howard would respect Prince which Prince would eat up ...

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

I have the very same hunch. Well, did. The London Shows being so close make me think now that he won't. Which is a shame; doing Howard would validate him with a very savvy and intelligent part of our culture. He would get a major bump from any type of appearance with Howard.

I've said it many times that it would be GOLD for both Howard and Prince if Prince were on the show.

Yes, Howard will ask him questions that he won't want to answer...I've heard it many times on his show, if the guest gets all uptight and upset Howard will press, but if they just kinda laugh it off and keep it moving...Howard won't press. There is some language on his show but...really? I hope Prince is man enough to just deal with a few cuss words with out making a stink. I really don't think very many cuss words would be uttered in an interview with Prince cause it just wouldn't be needed. A Prince perfomance on that show would be AMAZING!!!

I never even considered that Prince would be part of the birthday show....The only reason I would think he would be is because Howard is a fan, and it is for his birthday but...I don't see Prince doing it for free....but then again I don't know if any of the performers are doing it for free.

BTW, howard is not a nasty muthafukka (and many have said the same about Prince) He's a funny, talented, successfull broadcaster. biggrin

Ps publicist was in talks with Gary. Prince would perform but no interview. so it was a no go. I believe sometime around Superbowl performance after he sent Prince the track. If my memory is correct!!

Howard is good friends with a photographer that worked with Prince. That's how he got invited to the small show where Prince turned down lights n Howard walked out.
What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?
