If "Pretzelbodylogic" is on it, it's a bit hard to see a song like "The Breakdown" being included on it. If it is, it might result in a Chaos & Disorder type of a vibe (a bit too all over the place stylistically).

PRETZELBODYLOGIC - the 1st joint from the guitar rock throwdown - PLECTRUMELECTRUM

Is Funknroll a guitar rock song too??????? Also, if PBL is the 1st joint, that means Screwdriver & Fixurlifeup are not on the album.......

have any of you thought that maybe all this focus is on plectrumelectrum and Prince may surprise you by realeasing that alongside a 'PRINCE' only album?

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Prince & 3eg just continued doing what they have been doing; periodically release singles, etc. since that adds up to 10-15 songs per year. Also, I wonder is PE really finished or is it still a work in progress that may be a long way away??????

Well the live version I have of Funknroll doesn't sound like 3rdeyegirl track/rock song. Thats why I'm abit suprised 2 see that this song will be on PlectrumElecrum. I makes me belive we will get a double album after all. Btw Funknroll was played at the listening party, did anyone describe the song? if it was a rockier version?

Hmm, i actually think that FunkNRoll sound a lot like Pretzelbodylogic.
The overall theme here seems to be shouting

Screwdriver
FixurLifeUp
PretzelBodyLogic
FunkNRoll

They all have lyrics that are damn near shouted, certainly in the chorus
and than they're just backed by a wall of drum, bass and guitar.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

How hard is it to just give us a date?

And then, at that date, have the album in the stores?

I dont care whats on it but I hope that we get a full album with more than 10 songs at 3 and a half mins each that barely struggle to fill up 40 mins. It seems like his rock songs as of late follow the same 3:30 time format and structure. I would really like to see an album with some extended jams and solos like Hendrix or Zeppelin did since he is going with a rock style. So far with fixurlifeup and the pretzel song there is nothing really there as far as guitar substance. They both have guitar but they dont really go anywhere. I hope they are radio edits and the album wil be longer. Thats what I would like to see.

Good points about the guitar parts on both of those songs.

There's nothing wrong with an album of ~45 minutes long.

If the songs have intensity and are not too boring he can have a few longer ones in there (~6 minutes or more).
