Prince, I have a great idea for you... you should never read posts on the Org. Keep on keepin' on, and keep the Fro, Brother.
There. I said it.

Actually put out a real cd for a change. Most of his fans are older and we like real cds we can hold instead of downloads. Lastly, his fans do appreciate all the beautiful music he has given us, but brutha or not im not down with the fro or shelby or all those other circus acts around him. When i pay 400 for two tickets to see Prince thats just who I wanna see. Get back to being Prince again with just guitars, pianos and that beautiful voice that God gave him. Forget the fro and that dumb ass mic symbol sign. Be Prince again. Just my two cents. [Edited 1/23/14 17:58pm]

Another thing...Prince toured, but never came to the central U S. I mean Dallas, Detroit and every other part of the central U.S. I mean damn! Thats wrong. Im still kinda upset by that. Just another sign that he hates his fans. Ya'll wanted real ideas for him well there they are.

As far as Prince is concerned, founding 3rdEyeGirl gave him the jump start that he needed... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

What change? How many albums has he made? 30? 40? We've got nothing to complain about!

Make a rock album. Get rid of Shelby, the afro and start cussing again. I am sure Jesus cussed once or twice. God cusses all the time in the bible.

Take a year out, spend time with your friends and ex-band members...reacquaint yourself with reality and your inner muse. Don't even think about picking up an instrument until you're bursting with ideas and run them by others first..people whose opinions you should value, like Alan or Sheila. Consider a studio collaboration with a respected producer and don't let your ego rule you. "I'm much too hot to be cool"

A lot of people have already forgotten about him anyway.

Why should he retire? The man is a great musician and singer. His live shows are amazing.
Having said that, I think he should ditch the ladies and put together a better band and go out there and kick some ass. Personally, I would like to see more of him at his live shows and less of the girls.

I still say a very in-depth and revealing documentary would just do wonders to jumpstart his career again. When he decides to speak, people listen. It's gibberish sometimes, but hey, it's Prince. Look at all the press for appearing on New Girl! * People are curious about Prince, the person. If they can find a connection with him personally, then the music will speak to them as well. * Maybe that's what I need to enjoy his art again. I no longer have a connection, spiritually and musically. * He needs to do this before he gets too old. There are still a lot of unanswered questions. I don't care about his relationships, I would like to know about the recording process, his relationships with all the associated artists, how does he feel about performing live, what does he eat, let's see the closet, what's is it like for a day in the life of PRINCE!

Who needs a Prince album that doesn't sound like Prince?

I think there should be a concert movie released to cinemas (with a FULL setlist and not just highlights) The movie would also be accompanied by a soundtrack album with a decent website where fans could go and view some rehearsal footage and other live footage. The online rehearsal footage could also be included with some extras when the movie is released on Blu-ray. Just an idea...
