Saw a Prince boot-CD a few years ago, i think this one was called Royal Jewels. I think the tracklist had most of his well known hits but as i didn't listen to it I can't comment on whether the versions are the same as those on general release. They were asking £70 for the CD which was a bit out of my price range as i was only 15!

It was a 3-LP-Set of Studio outtakes 1983-86 containing the following tracks:

High Fashion, Mutiny, Desire, Susannah's Pajamas, Yes, Dance Electric, Around the World In A Day,
Instrumental, Feel U Up, Rebith Of The Flesh, Crystal Ball, G-Spot, Divinity, Darling Nikki, The Beautiful Ones, Computer Blue, I Would Die 4 U, Baby I'm A Star, The Ball, Movie Star, A Place In Heaven,
Starfish & Coffee, The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker, Joy In Repetition, Data Bank, Girl O'My Dreams,
Can't Stop (This Feeling I Got), We Can Funk, All Day All Night

Don't know if there's a CD-Version of exactly this set, but most titles are available in better quality on other compilations. 3rd LP is the same as the then called "Chocolate Box"

I have this on a three CD box set called "The Jewel Box". Most of the tracks are fairly shitty quality, so I hardly listen to it, good to have all the same.

It came in a black record box, with a side view of Prince's head singing on a mic on the cover.

It's what I kind of hoped "Crystal Ball" would be like, instead we got "Cloreen Baconskin", and " Get Loose".

I've always wondered if that version of ATWIAD was slated for a single or was the original version?A lot of the songs were bad sound quality.
