Well musically both are great albums, I personally prefer Wildcard. Lyricwise TTD'S /Sananda's lyrics of every record are way better than Prince's and "TRC " is no exception. I personally don't like these lyrics at all because of the content. Prince's lyrics are usually not bad, but Sananda is a true poet.

'Wildcard' is a great album, but I personally do not find them similar enough to be comparable.

I enjoy TTD's music, but sometimes his lyrics are almost too self-conciously 'clever' and poetic. In certain instances I think he spoils certain songs by trying to appear strongly intellectual and spiritual. I find the almost deliberate nature of it a little off-putting and distracting from the songs themselves.

He is an extremely spiritual and a very intelligent person and he is very aware of it. Though the words he uses may be very "poetic", they are very honest and personal at the same time and to me he is the best lyricist out there

I think Prince comes off that way in TRC that is why I found Wildcard musically smoother.

"Wildcard!" is a great album, like ALL of his records.

Sananda is a very sensitive, intelligent and complex person...way deeper than Prince in certain concepts and it seems like hes not in2 music as Prince is.

i dont compare their music. i love both "TRC" and "Wildcard!" and its great this 2 r still around making great music...

they HAVE 2 record some songs ot make a tour 2gether...

Never heard this album, but I will say I agree with what some have said about TTD's rather knowing and wordy manner. It all seems a little forced to me. In fact, much about TTD seems like that.

IMO TTD/ Sananda is a lot more "real" and "himself" than Prince. I still listen to "Wildcard" alot, and it's quite some time since I got the 1st version of it (which was the free download)

People, people, what's it with you all? I listened to

Wildcard many times and the only song I dig is "O Divina".

TTD doesn't play in the same league as Prince. He falls

short at almost every aspect of making music. I do

appreciate him, he sings in a beautiful way, but that's

all about it. He is not a genius, he's not immersed deeply

in the musical realm. TRC are way superior to Wildcard.

Peace

can u honestly say that TRC delivered raw emotion as Wildcard I disagree the voice box spoiled it 4 me if u want to say something say it and Prince to me hid behind machine to preach about what he felt he certainly made me feel like a banished one,

Could someone post some of TTD's lyrics from this album here as examples?
I couldn't find them on leoslyrics. The only thing they had was 3 of his old hits.
