Better version of Irresistable Bitch??

I 1st heard Irresistable bitch on "PRince and the Revolution: Live". I was let down by the studio version when I got the B-sides. I miss the chicken scratch guitar. What do U think?

I think this is one studio version where the chicken scratch is not needed imho. Studio version is th e best

I think it's just two entirely different jams, with the same lyrics. I'm partial to the live one because it KICKS ASS like NOBODY. The b-side is more of a laid back burn.

I like the live version for the music, it's funky as hell and kicks major ass, but I like the studio version too.
I don't thik either one is better than the other, to me they seem like two different songs with the same lyrics.

I just downloaded irresistable chick by Eve and it's crap. Music wise it sounds like irresistable bitch, except a bass synth, percussions and a made-up singing bridge or chorous(Prince's original chorous is also in it with chick instead of bitch) has been added and of course the drums have been updated with a loud bass drum sound. The rapping is doodoo.
Trik Turner's take on IB is much better, because he sings/rap, instead of rap. Sort of like arrested development's tennessee.

I used to DJ at this Club in Hawaii, One day I get this 12 inch version of Lets pretend we're married. On the B-side was Irresistable Bitch. I played them both, I.B. was cool, but didn't think it would go over in the club. so that night i played Lets pretend we're married and the play went wild, later on that night i put on Irresistable, and the place exploded. The dance floor wasn't big enough to hold everyone, people were jamning in the aisles, the bar, outside, from that time on till we closed, the club was just like that. And Irresistable Bitch became the number 1 requested song during the winter of 83.
How you gonna get my back when you fronting.

Same here. I do like the studio one, but that performance kicked ass.
