The Work 2.0 vs. iVault - Worth Keeping iVault? Hello all,
I just got The Work 2.0 and wondered if it was worth keeping iVault on my harddrive at this point. Is there anything on there that is exclusive?
Thanks! [Edited 12/31/13 9:28am] |

What is 'exclusive' to you? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. |

as i recall there is nothing exclusive. Everything is sourced from various compilations That said there may be some tacks on Ivault that are not included on Work It 2.0 Some tracks may come from a better source, but you will probably have to weed out tracks you dont need

iVault on a DVD+R in my car's radio/player/navi helps me through the longer trips to/from gigs. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. |

Ugh, that's what I was afraid of... And by "exclusive," I just mean between the two of them, so Fragile, you answered my question. I wonder if there is an easy way to compile a list of what is on iVault that is not on Work It 2.0? |

If you are happy with a shambled mess in crappy mp3 then keep ivault, if you want all the tracks in chronological order in lossless, then get Work It 2.0.

Also, there is no such thing as The Work 2.0, it's correct title is Work It 2.0. Work It 2.0 has nothing to do with The Work. There was an "enhanced" version of The Work (also crap), maybe that is what people are getting confused about.

My information may not be 100% correct, but here goes
Work It 2.0 dates to (2006) From what i gather, iVault dates to (2008) and contains some stuff from "30 years of funk vol 1,2,3" As to what exactly? I cant help you
I sugest you try to get ahold of these titles listed below in Flac, then you can truly ditch iVault (2007) 30 years of funk vol 1,2,3 (2010) Box O' Chocolates (2012) Parade Demos
Im sure there are a few more odds and ends on various compilations

Perfect. Thank you. Yes, I've seen the "30 years" tag come up on iVault. I'll try to get the other three sets. |
