People complaining about thedance's compaints are far more annoying than thedance for me. He's expressing a view shared by many fans, amongst them myself, and even if he were alone in his view, he has the right to express it.

Like he did in 2004 when Musicology was the 20th anniversary of Purple Rain, its now the 30th anniversary so guess what, he will drag out the oldies again for another go round, and of course tie it to a new record he has to do that, but if i had to bet money i would say if/when he tours he plays almost all old stuff or even Purple Rain the album start to finish, it would be the smartest thing ever, and any PR firm would get behind that, because that would sell because it SOLD already.
