This was by far the most fun I have had with a Prince related project in a looong time.

Brilliant with a capital B. Most people know that Prince is funky but only the diehard know that the man is FUNNY when he wants to be. Prince landed several jokes and had fun with the Prince mythology. Would love to see some kind of dividends come from this because he took something he could have sleepwalked through and gave the best 15 minutes of acting he has ever done. Don't know if the performance will sell a single copy of Plectrum but as a long-time fan it is always cool to see Prince knock one out of the park.

When Zooey started singing, for a second I thought, "wow, she's really good." But then I remembered I have four of her albums so that shouldn't have been a surprise at all.

Prince's acting always has been his Achilles heel and his appearance on New Girl is no exception...

However, I did laugh at the end so giving the Devil his due!

I want that song at the very end even if I have to replay it myself!!!

Haven't seen the whole episode yet but that clips provided here on the site were hilarious!!!

I searched the Internet and all the reviews are positive. That's incredible for such a finicky hyper-critical society. Working OT tonight so I won't to get to see the program (and the Super Bowl, half -time, the commercials, etc.) until hours from now...and I'm so excited because I think 2014 maybe similar to 2004 with an updated twist including sensational Prince projects, red hot music, incredible supporting tours, creative philanthropic projects, inspiring community initiatives, Chicago 2012 concerts supported by Van Jones/Rebuild The Dream and Reverb hoprfully with the outstanding interactive Expo concept, unexpected televised/radio/tweeter appearances and supporting CD's/music by what ever method he envisions to deliver them to us ...but you know, whatever way he chooses, it will be, eclectic and amazing!!!

Ummm....I wonder will his new tour in London, as well as, his highly publized and much anticipated New Girl appearance (yes Org... other media venues, interviews, articles, talk shows, etc. were giving much repect, expressing awe, saluting this out of the box treat and sending out praises to our iconic legend and and applauding this rare television appearances...even when it was taken for granted here @ times)... will make it more difficult to obtain fabulous, or any seats, for that matter at the Essence Festival in July...I know but it certainly made me think abou it!!!

Maybe one day I'll get invited to one of us parties...where ever...or one day I'll get go to the ( Purple) PFunk Motherland...Paisley Park. Well one can only dream...but for now I can't wait to see the New Girl Prince episode...

it has a very modern touch to it, but I liked it, and the semi subtle funky brass in the background kinda makes it sound like it could be an OutKast track. Prince being inspired by OutKast songs that was inspired by Prince.

I loved it typical,m Prince opened up as far as he could. Didn't know the show though, not on yet in New Zealand. But that afro has to go and Prince needs to grow up he is 55.6 years old for crissake.

I have never watched New Girl before and was slightly bored by it all.

Having watched all the preview clips there was nothing really new for me until the end, dam that was funny.
