So the Second Coming footage has been circulating since 1986? I've spent the last hour looking up posts by Neversin. His posts to me are fascinating with the info he has on unreleased Prince material. Among the things that intrigued me the most are #1) an unreleased video for "And God Created Woman", and #2) his info that the footage from the Second Coming has been in circulation since 1986. Knowing this is exciting and heartbreaking at the same time

An unreleased video for AGCW is no big deal. Prince has made a fuck ton of videos for songs that have never seen the light of day, as for The Second Coming being in circulation since '86... Where? Certainly not circulating among the masses, I have no doubt someone has it but "we" don't.

If stuff does not reach normal people (via physical media or downloads) then it is not really circulating. `Inner circle` tactics do not help us. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Yea I see what you're saying. I guess I'm just highlighting the fact that it's out in the hands of the so called "elite". I always thought the only ones that had it were the director and Prince. But to know that this is one of the things among that tight circle of collectors is mindblowing!

The reasons why I'm intrigued by an unreleased video for "And God Created Woman" is for one, it could've easily been put on the 3 Chains O Gold video collection but it wasn't. The other reason is sure, we know there are a shit ton of videos in the vault, but we really don't know what those videos are. We can guess and speculate all day, but to be able to say for sure there is one for AGCW kinda lifts the veil of mystery of what's in there just a little bit. So now that I know there is one, I can't help but try to imagine what it looks like. I hate the song "Girl" but It'd still be cool to know for sure that there is a video for it in the vaults. I hope I'm making sense

Wow really?!?! I'm sure he has tons of stuff. When MJ died, he said in an interview with Vibe magazine (I think in an article comparing Prince and MJ) that he has a tape of a Purple Rain concert from Los Angeles and when he watches it, he looks to see if he can see MJ since he was at one of those shows. Then I think two years ago for Prince's birthday he put out that unreleased 1984 rehearsal of Prince and the Revolution doing "More Bounce To The Ounce" and before he leaked it, it's existence wasn't even known about, at least among the masses.Sometimes I sit and daydream about what that man has in his possession! That I can understand. But still the songs are sort of a Schrödinger's Cat. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I had to look that up to see what it meant and that is a perfect analogy to describe it!

That only works if you consider all Prince songs as the 'cat' and the vault as 'the box' in which case you must assume every Prince song ever recorded has a video because When Doves Cry has a video or every Prince song doesn't have a video because...you've never seen the video for Crystal Ball. We know for a fact there is a When Doves Cry video that made it out of the vault. Is there a music video for The Love We Make? For Wasted Kisses? The analogy makes no sense unless you know exactly which songs might or might not have produced videos. Each song is a different 'cat' or different species or object entirely? So the "And God Created Woman" video is good information. Mainly because it's interesting to fans of Prince music to know exactly what videos exist. [Edited 11/23/13 22:18pm] Chili Sauce.
