Lenny is more humble now he is washed up but his ego was out of control at one point. Trying to be cool and wearing shades indoors is NOT cool

Aging rock stars have always done that to hide how much they've aged. It's also possible that his eyes are sensitive to light and he would be blinking them constantly under those bright lights (I know I do that all the time in bright light).

I personally feel that wearing sunglasses indoors, at night or any other time is totally fine.

It's a fashion statement, just like earrings, a scarf or a hat!

I love Lenny and don't care but always wondered about the shades he goes nowhere without. Lenny has a major wandering eye, that's why he wears sunglasses. I've seen it in person. Then again, those lights are brutal...
