Prince sang "moonbeam levels" at the aug 7 show in Europe

I just saw this when looking up set lists from
his recent european tour..It was done during his piano segment of
that show..I believe that was the first time since 1983..Maybe
a very good sign he'll release it finally

I think it may have only been a few lines. I think I also recall he has done a few lines of Electric Chair too recently. I would cut off my left nadger to be there and hear a full version. And if he did a full Moonbeam Levels too, off would come the right one!

  • This show is notable for including a rendition of Moonbeam Levels, for the first time in more than thirty years, since its only previously-known performance on 28 March, 1983. It also included a rendition of Electric Chair for the first time in almost 24 years, since its only previously-known performance on the televised Saturday Night Live in 1989. The show also included the second performance of Funknroll, which had previously been performed at the prior show, on 4 August, 2013.

Yes, it was just the first verse. Awesome to hear though, sounds pretty good on the boot.

Probably just a line or 2. A full-length version with 3rdeyegirl would be cool. At least he pulled this and Electric Chair out for a spell. Love those tracks.

How about Electric Chair? How much of that did he play, if you know?

In the piano section (with band backing), about 30 seconds at fast tempo, then at a slower tempo for about a minute, followed by jamming with audience call and response ("Oh, Denmark") and some guitar soloing.
