Was Prince talking to Warner Bros at the end of his American Music Awards performance?

Back in the 90's when The Gold Experience was out, Prince performed parts of Billy Jack B, I Hate U, 319, etc. at the American Music Awards and at the end He Yells out, "Take That, U Sorry mf's"!!!! I believe. Was he talking to Warner Bros about him going on his Own or Somebody else??? biggrin

I believe its a sample from 'loose'. I don't think the original line was aimed at WB. If it was or of it wasn't tho...at this point... Does it matter. We all know what transpired... Plenty of things not involved at all can seem involved and plenty of things that don't seem involved at all probably are. That mess was 20 years ago.

I took it as a response to all the haters period.

At the time there was talk that PaisleyPark/Prince was cash poor and couldn't maintain in the music business.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
