Dumb Question of the day! How has Prince managed to never have been photographed going through a TSA checkpoint? does he always fly private | |

If I remember correctly, he was once chased through Schiphol airport when people tried to photograph him... or something like it... or am I dreaming it? | |

I think celebs have a 'separate' clearence area apart from the general public and papparazi.

I used to work at the airport in Minneapolis for an airline in the early 90s. Prince would come through all the time. His limo would pull up to the curb side checkin and they would have one of those golf carts waiting for him. He usually had 2 bodyguards with him. When they got to the security check point, they would have to get off the cart and walk through the metal detectors. They would get back on the cart and head to the gate. Prince would normally be the last one on the plane and sit in the first row. People wouldn't realize it was him until he was speeding away on the cart.

This reminds me of that pic from a few years back where he's walking through an airport wearing black sandals with (gasp) white tube socks. Shudder. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
