Prince will appear on the track Leader Of The Band on Sheila E.'s upcoming album Icon, due for release on 5 November, 2013.

This isn't a new track btw, it was released on an EP a few years back.

I honestly couldn't care less about all these guest spots he's doing on other people's albums the past couple of years.

Although, his collaboration with Janelle Monae was pretty beast!

Any Sheila/Prince collaboration is worthwhile!

Now...if they could release the rumored "4th album" out of the vaults...

I've seen her play this.

It was recorded before their alleged falling out that happened during the W2A shows.

The EP is "From E To U", it got a very limited release in 2010.

the song with janelle was the best song with Prince's name attached in years and years... 8-)plus one of the really RARE cases in which prince sings(not just play) on another artist's album in a song not written by him..

really? . anyway if ho co- wrote that with her janelle is clearly able to re awake the old Prince..she's the one LOL by the way I just saw her perform her electric lady track on Saturday Night live and she killed it..and Prince was at her concert the other night waving his pimp cane in the air...she's the one..she can re -inspire him ( for real not like his new bands )

I think you misinterpreted I think artists need to gain new inspirations and I think she can help in that way she belted out 2 amazing records ..and a really good ep before..she's creative and he definitely needs that in this moment imo.more creativity..but anyway..
