"This used to belong to you, but tonight it belongs to me," - Prince

Well, Ive been haunted in my sleep
Youve been starring in my dreams
Lord I miss you
Ive been waiting in the hall
Been waiting on your call
When the phone rings
Its just some friends of mine that say,
Hey, what's the matter man?
Were gonna come around at twelve
With some puerto rican girls that are just dyin to meet you.
Were gonna bring a case of wine
Hey, lets go mess and fool around
You know, like we used to

August 12-14, 1986: Ron Wood jams with Prince at a party in London, then joins him onstage for Miss You at
Wembley Arena.

Ive been walking in central park
Singing after dark
People think Im crazy
Ive been stumbling on my feet
Shuffling through the street
Asking people, what's the matter with you boy?

Lord, I miss you child

Still one of my favourite shows! I was front row middle and caught a tamborine and ray bans!

Here is one of the pictures I took as a 16 year old with a 110mm camera in the front row of this night. This was Miss You with Sting and Ron Wood.

Wendy enjoying herself during Mutiny. She had just thrown me her raybans after she took them off at the end of I Wonder U.

There was a tightness to the shows as well as an impromptu feeling

it had a family affair just like the 1985 ATWIAD, the Family, Romance 1600, Parade era

This was Prince doing the scream of Do Me Baby. Straight after I took this, he opened his eyes and winked. He didn't mind he picture being taken back then!

Miko and Wendy jamming on Controversy. This night was the third of three and by far the best. I was fortunate to be in the front row for each night.

What is a real shame is live, the Revolution were in their prime on this tour. Here is Prince doing When Doves Cry on the night. They all really seemed to be enjoying themselves, but were a month from splitting up. Prince did seem choked singing Sometimes It Snows in April. Maybe he knew what was coming.

Love the way those colors are coming out...

Coming almost straight out of the awesomeness of the Purple Rain tour,

and all the recordings, and all night rehearsals and creation of so much wonderful music

then go into a more freeflowing Parade tour, I can see how you say they were in their (early)Prime

even though the 4 core of the band have been rocking with Prince since 1980, that core were the glue that the others easily feel in with

the Dream Factory tour would have been awesome

Thanks 4 sharing all these pictures, man, you were right their all 5 senses worth

No problem. I'll have to get round to scanning all my old photos one day, main shows and the aftershows. Not even sure where they all are. I the loft with plectrums, tamborines, shirts, Kiss Jacket, Gold discs and of course, shoulder pads.

Squirrelmeat, I'd love to see your photographs but they're not showing up for me - 'image unavailable' in several languages is all I get. Can you check your hosting? Thanks!

For Prince's own consumption (most likely with a solitary camera or 2-camera video feed at most). No footage has ever surfaced however like most of Prince's live document footage. He would consistently review each show back at the hotel for many years. Most likely still does to some degree.

The parade show is the show I wished I saw back in the day. From what i've seen on youtube it's so funky, i love how he looks, the band is tight, it just rocks

Well, it bugs me. There is never ever a good time to add a whistle to any musical performance. You cannot be funky with a whistle.
