just finished listening. and it makes me cry inside and out...
Most beautiful saddest love song ive heard.
Why would she leave if he truly gave her everything?
maybe it wasnt intentional and out of her hands.
Maybe they just cant see eye to eye.
I dont know just speculating that maybe she's waiting....

Finally something good from Prince. Actually put a smile on my face and not a frown.

Sometimes drums, guitar and piano are all you need to create a good sound - I like the rehearsal vibe of this...if only there had been a webcam! I wish he'd written it, then I'd get even more excited. "I'm much too hot to be cool"

Am I the only one getting a strong "Another Lonely Christmas" vibe?
Very cool throwaway. "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

Very cool! I was really hoping it was a new P song but this is one hell of a cover!
Much better then some others he's covered in his career and put on vinyl. Lets hope he includes this on the new CD The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.
Remember there is only one destination and that place is U All of it. Everything. Is U.

Love the drums and cymbols. The music sounds really great too. Only one thing though, he's definitely holding back on the falsetto which seemed to be sung too low and needed to be in the entire lyrics and this song would have been perfect for a scream or two. I do understand it was a rehearsal though. Other than that, great job, and it's the best thing he's released all year. Andy is a four letter word.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Great cover. You can hear how much fun they are having playing together. The recording is strong on the drums. Hannah played it rock drum till 3.30 then she gets into the original groove albeit with more ride. Somewhere she calls out "Sing it boy!"

Very nice! Although Prince's production in general has been better recently, I still think it would be cool if he recorded an album live on a soundstage like this, kind of like the old Warehouse recordings.
