"Like a track under a subway train"...

'She Spoke 2 Me' is playing, and that lyric popped out to me.

Prince ever ridden a subway train? I just can't picture it. What was the public transport system in Minneapolis like, back in the 70's?

Anyway, having a hard time picturing our lil' man stuffed in with a bunch of commuters... lol

No subway.

You took the bus to get around.

He spent a bunch of time in NYC in the early days, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'd be surprised if he didn't. But yeah it's funny to think about say a Lovesexy era Prince on a subway. Probably get a wide berth...

Someone pointed out in the Manic Monday thread that it was astonishing how someone who'd never had a 9 to 5 in his life was able to speak about Monday mornings as if he knew all about them.

So maybe he doesn't need to have been in a subway lol

Funny thing last night I dreamt I was in NY and I took a bus. Never been there, but that dream really makes me want to biggrin

I'm convinced I saw him on the 179 Longtown to Carlisle bus the other day. I'd recognise that Afro anywhere.
He was reading The Daily Mail whilst taking surreptitious sups from a can of Kestrel Super Strength and muttering gibberish to himself.
