IMO, i dont think it has anything to do with money. He's made it quite clear how loaded he is (and good for him). I think it's more to do with him no longer having any real enthusiasm to release much these days. this is so different to when he finally got out the WB contract. We were 'promised' so much, yet we received not half as much as we were expecting. | |

music is not selling period
bad time for Prince but hopefully it will mean he will be forced to tour to make his money and then he will just give up and start having more shows at PPark since he is getting old and tired | |

Actually you have to ask yourself every week on this forum? We get it. You're frustrated. You miss being in the 80's and 90's. Does that warrant a new thread every 6-8 days? When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

He's 55, i dont care if he comes out with something that rivals Sign O the Times, it aint gonna sell, no hit singles etc...DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE he is 55, the days of him being on the radio or OVER his last major hit was almost 20 years ago, as PRINCE said in 1993 LETITGO "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

I just watched last week's episode of the TV show "Nashville". In the episode, the younger starlet performs a private concert for a rich family for $1 Million. . I wondered to myself: if I won the Lotto, would I hire Prince to perform at my birthday party? I wonder how much he would charge?"
