Musicology era featurette - On The Road I found this on one of my DVD's of assorted Prince material. Its called On the Road and features some songs and background scenes of the Musicology tour and is very interesting.
You see his band from the time including Candy, Renaldo, John Blackwell, Rad and Rhonda and also some pretty funny skits from Chance Howard. I haven't watched this in years, theres some great performance, excited fans entering a concert and otehr things. Its about 40 minutes.
Has anyone else seen it or know much about it. Was it ever released commerically or just destined to be for bootleggers like the way I ended up with it.
Oh yes and I like it, needed more Prince, but Chance does some funny sketches of a Barry White like dude called Cleophus and a roadie called Vinnie. He's good at making Prince laugh. What happened to him.
Because he is also in the NEWS/Musicology era program (The one with Prince and John in Manchu jackets and Prince has a slight afro.

This could have been so good! Just imagine a full length pro shot concert from the Musicology Tour with the behind the scenes footage between songs or as a bonus feature at the end... | |
