This continous cloak, promise, teaser stuff gets a tired. Like the uncle who told a funny joke when you where 6 and where the shine wore off after repeating and not adapting the changing audience.It seems to me that he really doesn't have some respect for his audience....I hope he releases something which gets more attentionspan that one breakfast. |

Prince is the only Debbie downer around here of late This song and awful video ain't worth the hype! It's sad really.. The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

In your opinion, 2020. I think BREAKFAST CAN WAIT is a seriously strong single/cut by Prince, so each to their own. Prince has a long history of poor/amateur videos, as well as a lack of extended/maxi singles for the majority of his singles in the past decade or two, so I think it is actually a step in a positive direction that he is once again initiating efforts to play with interpretations of the song with alternate takes (and promote a video), irrespective of what I might conclude of its quality. | |

You seem far more invested, and then hurt, because you have understandably got your hopes up. As far as I am concerned, if it comes out, then great. If not, then no biggie. BUT I CAN STILL LOOK FORWARD TO SOMETHING AND NOT FEEL TOO HARD DONE BY IF IT DOESN'T SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY. In other words, sadness does not come into the equation for me. I already bought BCW and am not very excited about any remixes but am prepared to be surprised. So long as that Jamie Lewis guy is nowhere near it they may turn out ok. RIP  | |
