For anyone that's confused.....

There were rumors dating back to even before the release of "3121" that Prince had filmed a new movie. Reports came that he had filmed in Panama with Liza Hernandez (aka Liza Lena).

These rumors seemed to gain more credence when the album came out because, on the disc, it says "3121 - The Music".

Anyway no movie was ever released, and things moved in in Prince-world as they always do.

And then BAM! in April 2011, the trailer for the movie leaked out. The movie was indeed made and directed by Cameron Pearce.

Trailer is a minute and half long and looks very cool indeed. The movie is part documentary and part fiction, with a storyline involving Prince's brother and/or employees ripping him off.

Some scenes in the film include Prince playing "The Dance" on piano, and a sequence set to "The Word".

A different edit of the movie was made in 2009, renamed to "Lotusflow3r" and at that time other material was addded to it, like a sequence set to "Guitar". There is a scene set to "The Morning After" in there as well but it's not known whether that was in the original "3121" edit or added in to the "Lotusflow3r" edit. The song itself was at one stage included on a configuration of the 3121 album, and of course removed and later appeared on "Lotus" so it could be either scenario.

The "Lotusflow3r" edit was at one stage going to be released via the Lotusflow3r website.
