First of all thanks to everyone who participated in this discussion. Ok, some of the things people have presented have not been facts and purely speculation, but at least they pointed me in the right direction. Without personally knowing anyone who knew such information or knowing any of you well enough to PM, this forum seemed the most appropriate place to bring this question up. I am sorry that some people dislike seeing this topic every time they log in and that some even find it tasteless, but to be honest I havent seen this topic brought up very repeatedly. Maybe one or twice, but not overwhelmingly. And I did originally state I didnt mean for this thread to sound or come off as morbid, offensive, or downright tasteless. Those were definitely not my intentions or motives by starting this topic. Regarding KoolEaze, I understand Uptown Magazine and books such as The Vault would have the answers to my questions, but I dont own those and dont know of any other source to look at, other than posting here. If you could provide alternative titles, publications, or even links to or the pdfs that would be wonderful. Like thedance, I also wasnt aware that "Boy Gregory" was not the childs name. He had been refered to as this on the Prince wikipedia page where I first looked for information but wasnt able to find any, so I didnt know any other way to refer to him other than "Boy Gregory" or "the/his child". Im sorry for inconveniencing some of you. As far as Im concerned now, this thread can be locked. I have some points of reference now to look at/listen to, I am appreciative of that and that was all I was asking for. In case anyone cared, I didnt start this conversation with any kind of malicious intent, nor did I think I was asking anything that came off as tasteless, nor did I bring it up purely for fucks sake to stir the pot, but I can see how something as personal as a death of a child can rattle some heads. I recently lost a child back in July and Prince has always been one of my favorite artists to listen to. That event brought me back to this, how I knew he had also lost a loved one, and I was wondering how he dealt with it. I do music as well, but its a hard thing to get through, even when music is your biggest escape.

er

Okay... I never thought you were morbid or anything, just looking for information. And if you have not been on this site for years you may not know that it has been discussed to death. (I didn't.)
I don't have children, but I do know what it's like to see a loved one die and Prince's music also helped me. peace hug
