No outtakes from 1981 (according to iVault)?

For the Prince historians in the house (and pardon the potentially stupid question).....

i noticed this evening that iVault shows no outtakes from 1981. Is that correct or did the source for this mislabel some tracks? If it is correct, then why?

Thanks!

uncirculating stuff from 1981 includes:

.

kiss me quick

heart attack

hump you

susan

jealous girl

pizza

friction

see u dead

gym class

delivery boy

dear uncle george [later became private joy]

make u mine

mink kitty kat

the rain and u

rearrange

there's something i like about being your fool

.

i think it's safe to say that whatever year and whatever album

by prince you pick, he's got another album's worth of songs in

the vault for each one.

which is why remasters with bonus material could be just about

the most amazing thing in musical history, ever.

actually they have all been documented by The Vault.

some of the titles do look silly but keep in mind that he

was also writing songs for his "the hookers" project and

we all know how silly some of the later vanity/apolonia

titles were lol

I hope we get to hear more unreleased material from the 1980-1981 period. Especially 1980 since the only unreleased song circulating from that year is Lisa! It would be awesome to finally get the full version of Hard to Get '81

Ctrl+F, type "1981".

or you could simply click the box next to "year of recording"

and the site automatically lists them by year of recording biggrin

Could be a Time track, as it refers to an older man with a younger woman/girl (bit dodgy, so maybe he woulda given it to Morris).
