Back in September 2012 DrFunkenberry posted a reheasal of Old Friends 4 Sale. The arrangement sounds similar (identical) to the version played at Paisley Park last night, but still the over all sound is quite different. Who was in the line up on the September 2012 version? Different drummer? The Hornheadz rather than NPGHornz? Anyone knows?

I heard through the grapevine that it was a guest tubist. I'm not 100% sure though so don't quote me on that. I don't want to be responsible for spreading any false information.

That was the new horn section. The Hornheadz have only done studio recordings in the past few years, no live performances or rehearsals.
