Batman Demos A few months back I downloaded a Batman era boot with supposed demos of most of the Batman songs (Trust, Vicki Waiting, The Future, etc.) and was wondering if they are legit? Here's the cover art:

The demos look pretty iffy - there are a few alt versions/mixes of some of these but most of those listed as "demos" here - nah.
A couple of out-takes, official mixes and DJ promo mixes looks like the most legit things here.

Fan made or not, I always thought the "unreleased extended" version of Batdance was pretty decent. Facebook, I haz it - https://www.facebook.com/Nikster1969

Oh OK, thx
Could it be these awful "demos" that were alongside a Nude Tour concert on a double CD boot in the early 90's which were nothing but the album versions played on a terrible sound system and rerecorded with a terrible mic to sound like demos A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Fan remixes don't bother me near as much as fan-made "extended mixes." There's nothing worse than a twelve minute version of "Strange but True" with a shitty synth solo in the middle or a fourteen minute "The One (Original Version)" with a bunch of casio orchestrations layered on top. The Dawn 4.1 and The Extended NPR Experience are not the same.

Ah, Pook, what is the extended NPR experience?

It's a fan boot I downloaded from somewhere. It's fairly retched. Someone sat in their bedroom and augmented some tracks. It's part looped-remix, part fan jam session. I don't know who made it.
