Assuming that she doesn't have some Egyptian heritage (I'm not convinced that she doesn't...at this point, I just don't know)...shouldn't the question be why is SHE lying about it. It's pretty obvious that the Egyptian thing was centered around the 3 Chains Of Gold act. I heard early on that Mayte is Puerto Rican and Black. No big mystery. But I guess when there's no new Prince news, everything is a conspiracy.
Also, since Prince is light skinned, it's no big deal that most of the women he's dated/married have been light skinned. Actually, I think Mani is a little bit darker than Prince. Oh my God.
